About Kittie

I’m 29 years old and I remember getting headaches most of my life.  It was not until I was sitting in Biology class in high school that I remember my vision getting blurry for several minutes before I felt a huge awful headache come after.  When I told my parents, my mom quickly made an appointment at Duke University with one of the top neurologists.  We were all a little worried.  My grandmother had just passed away from a brain aneurysm.  The doctor ordered a CT scan and put me on a daily medication, Verapamil. Thankfully, the CT scan was clear and I was set on my way with medicine.

In the last several years, my migraines have progressively gotten worse and after researching online, I thought writing about my experiences and sharing with others  would be helpful.  Feel free to ask questions and comment!
